LB Norwood Excels in FFA Competitions

Linda Beth Norwood, a dedicated member of the Celeste FFA, has recently achieved remarkable success in various agricultural competitions.

Texas Farm Bureau Speak Out for Agriculture (SOFA) Challenge
Linda Beth competed in the SOFA Challenge held at the Extraco Event Center in Waco. Prior to the event, she had to research and develop solutions to several trending agricultural issues facing farmers today. On the day of the contest, she presented and advocated for her solution to one of the pre-selected questions before a panel of judges. This experience allowed Linda Beth to enhance her problem-solving and communication skills in a real-world scenario.

State Fair of Texas Job Interview Contest
In addition to the SOFA Challenge, Linda Beth has been preparing for the State Fair of Texas Job Interview Contest. She was one of thirty FFA members to advance to the semi-finals round, where she competed in person.

State Fair of Texas Youth Breeding Rabbit Show
Linda Beth's achievements extend to raising and showing breeding rabbits.  She and her Havana Breeding rabbit, Cole, were named Best of Variety and Best of Breed at the State Fair of Texas Youth Breeding Rabbit show. The following day, Linda Beth showcased Cole again and won Best of Breed.
