2024-2025 CHS Chromebook 1:1 Program

Celeste ISD is proud to announce the third year of the 1:1 Chromebook initiative for Celeste High school students!  Chromebooks will be issued to high school students as school begins.  Both student and a parent/caregiver must sign the Chromebook Loan Agreement prior to being issued a Chromebook. Each Celeste High School student will be issued a district Chromebook.  This Chromebook is required for school benchmarks and STAAR testing.  There are 2 options for the 1:1 Chromebook Program. 

• Plan 1: Lease to buy Chromebook Plan will cost $40 each year and it includes the insurance fee. Each freshmen student starts out with a new Chromebook, and at the end of senior year, the Chromebook will by owned by the student, and the device is theirs to keep. 
• Plan 2: Just the basics.  The student will pay $20 each year to cover insurance on the device.  The device will remain the property of Celeste High School. 
  
  TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 1:1 CHROMEBOOK INITIATIVE, BOTH STUDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES MUST SIGN THE CHROMEBOOK CARE AND POLICY GUIDE.

Student Mobile Loan Technology is Ready for Checkout!
Celeste ISD is pleased to offer our students mobile technology loan equipment for Celeste High School and Celeste Junior High students.  In order to begin checking out technology equipment (Chromebooks, Hotspots, and Calculators) a student and a parent/caregiver must read, sign and agree to the terms of the Celeste ISD Technology Lending Agreement.  Chromebooks, Hotspots, or Calculators loaned to the student for educational purposes for the amount of one night unless otherwise noted.  The lending form is available in the campus library, or click on the link below to print form:
