FFA Awarded Scholarships & 5th Place at State Contest

The Celeste FFA competition season wrapped up with the State FFA Public Speaking contest which was held in Stephenville, TX on June 6-7, 2024.  Luke Beadles was District and Area Champion in the Soil and Water public speaking competition which qualified him for State.  The State Semifinals on June 7th where the top 24 speakers from Texas were competing. The top 12 moved on to the State Finals and Luke was one of the top 12.  Congratulations to Luke for placing 5th overall. What an amazing accomplishment!

After an intensive application and interview process, it is official that Luke Beadles and Koby Brown both received Texas FFA Scholarships!  Luke received the Richard Wallrath Educational Foundation Scholarship, and Koby received the AgTexas Farm Credit Scholarship.  They will both be recognized on the stage at the Texas FFA State Convention which will be held July 8-12, 2024 in Houston, Texas.
