Elementary UIL Stars

Celeste Elementary students have been enjoying some dress up days to celebrate the upcoming holiday.  This photo captures them participating in “There’s no place like home for the holidays” as they dressed in their pajamas for wear comfy clothes day.  Do not let the photo fool you, these students have been focused and practicing for the UIL contest for months.  Congratulations to all the students that worked hard to participate in UIL events!  Here are the top individuals and teams from the UIL competition that was held on Dec. 7 and 8, 2023:  Storytelling 2nd grade; Emma Bruner - 5th place, Ready Writing 3rd grade; Jordyn Sizemore - 5th place, Number Sense 4th grade; Logan Johnston - 3rd place and Savannah Evans - 5th place, Spelling 4th grade; Logan Johnston – 2nd place and 4th grade Spelling Team placed 3rd with Logan Johnston, Josue Monsalvez, and Christian Vasquez, Art 5th grade; Jake Barry - 2nd place and 5th grade Art Team placed 3rd with Cashlynn Owen, JJ Sanchez, Addie Moss, Jake Barry, and Eli Buckley, Ready Writing 5th grade;  Mavery Rose Park – 2nd place.
