Beta Members Attend Leadership Summit

Celeste Beta Club members attended a Beta Regional Leadership Summit on October 18-19, at Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, TX.  The following Beta members attended with the Beta Club Sponsor, Lisa York: Jeny Sanchez, Addison Kampwerth, Gavin McDaniel, Henry Waller, Aidan Oslin, Linda Beth Norwood, Sarah Hawkins, Caelin Henderson, Mckayela Lyday, and Maddison Downs.  Students learned about becoming more effective leaders, building positive self-esteem and overcoming negative peer pressure.  Sarah Hawkins participated in the Leadership Representative Interviews.  Linda Beth Norwood, Caelin Henderson, Maddison Downs and Gavin McDaniel all participated in officer training.  Celeste had two scavenger hunt teams that placed 2nd & 3rd and received pins.  Our Collaboration Connection team consisting of McKayela Lyday, Aidan Oslin, Henry Waller, Jeny Sanchez, Caelin Henderson & Gavin McDaniel advanced to Nationals which will be held in June in Savannah, GA.
