Cross Country Teams are Regional Bound!

Blue Devil Cross Country members ran in the District Cross Country Meet that was held in Trenton on October 4, 2021.  The varsity boys placed second overall, Jerret Stone – 4th and Justin Sherwin – 7th, and the varsity girls placed third. Kendall Hanson placed 8th in the girls meet.  Both teams are heading to the regional meet!

The junior high cross country team also competed in Trenton and did very well with several individual medalists.   Junior High girls: Natalie Vasquez- 2nd and Briza Chacon- 10th.  Junior High Boys: Henry Waller- 1st and Adam Hofman- 8th. 

Congratulations to these hard working athletes.  “Their work ethic is incredible, and I am so proud of all of the runners,” stated head cross country coach, Alesha Evans.  Jeremy Evans serves as the assistant coach.  The Regional Meet is scheduled for October 25, 2021, at Lynn Creek Park at Joe Pool Lake in Grand Prairie, TX.
