2020-2021 FFA Banquet Photo Gallery
Celeste FFA held a chapter banquet on Thursday, May 13, 2021, to honor FFA members that excelled in leadership, speaking and career development events. Junior FFA members, greenhand and chapter farmer degrees, Proficiency, Star, Who’s Who and Outstanding FFA members were recognized. Steve and Heather Sumrow and Derek and Lindsay Walker received the Honorary Member awards. Leadership, speaking and judging teams were recognized. Mr. Stephen Dillard gave details of the year-in-review including recognizing American Farmer recipients Kambrie Hogue and Jaxson Dillard, and Lone Star recipients Kloe Walker and Raegan Sumrow. FFA Booster Club President Chad Brown presented FFA seniors, Kloe Walker, Raegan Sumrow and Heather Hudson with $500 scholarships. As they retired their FFA jackets, senior members Renee Gray, Chelsea Young, Sierra Qualls, Heather Hudson, Raegan Sumrow and Kloe Walker each gave heartfelt, memorable retiring addresses. “We truly want to recognize and thank these senior members for how much work they have done and the impact they have had on this chapter and its members,” stated Mr. Dillard. The banquet concluded with the introduction of the 2021-2022 incoming officer team including President: Justin Richey, Vice-President: Paris Walker, Secretary: Koby Brown, Treasurer: Preslee Minter, Reporter: Ally D’Amico, Sentinel: Madisyn Douglas and Student Advisor: Luke Beadles.
PROFICIENCY AWARDS
This award is given to FFA members that have proven to be outstanding at their chosen project program, whether it is in animals, business, job placement or leadership. These students have excelled throughout the year in all aspects of the FFA.
