Track & Field State Meet Bound!

The 2A Region II track meet was held on April 23-24 in Springtown.  Ky Jackson of Celeste won the boys 400-meter dash. He clocked a time of 50.77 and advanced to State.  The Celeste boys 4x100-meter relay team consisting of Riley Ziminskas, Ky Jackson, Thomas Powell and Tanner Meeks won second place and advanced to State.  Congratulations to all the regional runners including Tyson Fielden, Anthony Powell, Seth Buckley, Tre Robinson and Jerret Stone.  Jerret placed 5^th with an impressive run of 11:09 in the 3200-meter run.  The State Track and Field meet will be held on May 6-8 at Mike A. Myers Stadium, The University of Texas at Austin.
