The students and faculty at Celeste Elementary celebrated the 100th day of school on Thursday, January 28, 2021. “This year is especially significant considering the challenges we have faced with the COVID19 pandemic,” stated Principal Lindsay Walker. The students recognized the day by wearing creative shirts adorned with 100 items, 100 day t-shirts or they dressed up like 100 year olds. Many students brought in 100 items from home such as paper clips, paper chains and other small items to share with their classes. The Pre-Kindergarten class even had a 100 museum on display in the auditorium. No doubt, there are many days of school remaining, but it certainly feels like a huge accomplishment for this year. We are all definitely 100 days smarter, and that is a great feeling!
