Elementary Students and Teachers Attend KidZania: A City Built for Kids

Celeste Elementary students and teachers enjoyed a field trip to KidZania USA in Stonebriar Centre in Frisco, Texas on Friday, February 7, 2020.  The students got to discover a city built for kids and run by kids which included exploration of future occupations, and they got to experience real life skills such as opening a bank account and learning about saving and spending.  The students also got to role-play specific responsibilities such as citizenship, healthy living, social awareness and sustainability.

The students independently got to explore the city and various careers. The students got to choose from the following professions:

​Actor, Chef, Doctor, Fire Fighter, News Anchor, Optometrist, Pilot, Podcaster, Police Officer, Veterinarian

And Businesses and Industries including:

Airport, Aviation Academy, Bank, Dental Clinic, Eye Care Center, Fire Station, Hospital, Podcast Studio, Restaurants, Sports Training Center, Theater, TV Studio
