With 28 years in education, Bret Willis brings a deep passion for learning, leadership, and connection to his role at Celeste ISD. Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a Master’s in Education Administration, Bret’s career has been shaped not only by his academic background but by a lifelong immersion in the world of education — both of his parents were educators, and that early influence left a lasting mark.

Bret’s favorite part of being at Celeste ISD is the unique closeness of a small school community. “It allows me to build real relationships with both staff and students,” he says — a value that’s reflected in his approachable leadership style and student-centered philosophy.

His goals for students are simple but powerful: to help them become successful citizens who contribute positively to society. It’s a mission he carries out daily through encouragement, high expectations, and genuine care for the people around him.
