FFA Members attend wool judging clinic at Angelo State University

Celeste FFA members, Justin Richey, Morgan Stark, Kloe Walker, Kambrie Hogue, Regan Leroy and Karalyn Goodman, attended a wool judging clinic on December 7, 2018 at Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas.  Members of the Angelo State Wool Judging team taught the students how to evaluate fleeces for fineness, length and yield.  They also learned how to rank fleeces within a group and give reasons for their placing of those classes.  These students will use what they learned during the clinic to help practice and train other FFA members in preparation for the spring wool judging career development contest.  Following the wool judging clinic, there was a contest.  Kloe Walker and Karalyn Goodman were the high point individuals, and the team placed 10^th in the contest.
