SENIOR CITIZEN NIGHT

The annual Celeste ISD Senior Citizen’s appreciation dinner was held on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 6pm in the high school cafeteria.  Celeste High School Principal Jimmy Branam stated, “It was a pleasure to see so many of our community members come out to support our students afterwards at the game.  Thank you so much for all of your continued support!”  The evening was a great way to kick-off the first home game of the season.  The drill team, cheerleaders and drum corps performed for the special guests, and following the entertainment, members of the Celeste FFA and Beta Clubs served the seniors.  The Blue Devils Football team went to 2-0 this week with an outstanding 35-20 victory over the Boles Hornets!  They will travel down the road to play the Leonard Tigers this week.  The game will kick off at 7:30 pm.
