Spotlight on Texas: CES 4^th & 5^th Grade Students Celebrate Texas Independence Day

Celeste Elementary 4th and 5th grade students performed a spring musical featuring recorder ensembles and song favorites from the great state of Texas.   A perfect way to celebrate Texas Independence Day on March 2^nd, the students, under the musical direction of Mrs. Sherry Shelton, sang popular melodies including favorites such as  If You’re Gonna Play in Texas, You Gotta have a Fiddle in the Band, The Yellow Rose of Texas, Deep in the Heart of Texas, and Texas, Our Texas.  Students also performed Texas Train using their recorders.
