Celeste FFA has been busy and on the road much of the month of October attending leadership development events. FFA members participated in a Leadership Development Event contest at Texas A&M University-Commerce on Tues. October 25, 2016. The senior chapter conducting team placed 1st and the radio broadcast team placed 4th in the contest. During the contests, students learn important communication skills, they learn to think under pressure and develop problem solving skills which enhance college and career readiness.

On Thursday, November 3rd, FFA students traveled to Tarleton State University for an Invitational Leadership Development contest. Here are the results from the contest: The Greenhand Conducting Team: 2nd, Senior Chapter Conducting Team: 4th, Ag Advocacy: 6th, Public Relations: 11th, Radio Broadcast: 1st

On Monday, November 7th, FFA leadership teams competed at the district competition in Crandell. Results from the district contest are as follows:

The Greenhand and Senior Conducting Teams advanced to the Area competition which will be held on November 19, at Krum High School. Congratulations to all these Celeste FFA members for their achievements in leadership, personal growth, time management and their willingness to learn new concepts.
