CELESTE FFA MEMBERS COMPETE AT STATE FAIR LIVESTOCK JUDGING CONTEST

The Celeste FFA Livestock Judging team competed in the State Fair of Texas Livestock Judging Contest on Tuesday, October 11, 2016.  There were 172 teams and 551 individuals on the senior level.  Celeste FFA team #1 placed 38th and team #2 placed 71^st.  Abbi Farr, Cassidy Herron and Jaxson Dillard led the teams with the highest individual scores.  Abbi Farr placed 111^th out of the 551 individuals in the contest.

In the Junior Division, there were 52 teams and 157 individuals.  Celeste Jr. Team #1 placed 18^th and Team # 2 placed 33^rd.  Justin Richey held the highest ranking from the Celeste juniors placing 17^th out of the 172 individuals.  Jaci Jones and Kloe Walker also placed high among the juniors.
