CELESTE FFA HUNT COUNTY FAIR 2013 RESULTS

The Celeste FFA Chapter enjoyed a very successful week during the 2013 Hunt County Fair Junior Livestock Show, bringing home an abundance of ribbons and awards.

Celeste FFA students proudly earned 27 sale lots during the 41^st Annual Sale of Champions which was held on June 15, 2013.  Highlights of the week included Devon Jackson with reserve champion market pen of broilers, Jaxson Dillard with reserve champion market lamb, Austin Moore, Chris Moore, Abby Collida and Richard Horton with their reserve champion shop project which was a 6’X10’ utility trailer.  On the night of the auction, Celeste FFA senior Justin Bennett was awarded the $1,000.00 Hunt County Fair and Livestock Show Scholarship.  Celeste FFA students and parents should be commended for all the hard work and dedication that was given in preparation for the show.  Everyone is looking forward to the 2014 Hunt County Fair which has been moved forward to the week of April 25-May 3.
