CELESTE FFA RESULTS FROM HOUSTON LIVESTOCK SHOW - March 28, 2016

The Celeste FFA just completed a two week long run (March 8-20) at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. Listed below are the exhibitors, the events, and results: 
 

March 9-11:  Market Broiler Show – Jaycee Brown – participant, Koby Brown – participant, Madisyn Douglas – participant  

*approximately 250 pens in the show  

 March 9-12 – Market Lamb Show – Reid Tallant – 1st place – premium auction, Jaxson Dillard – 14th place – premium auction, Abbi Farr – 17th place – premium auction  

*approximately 85 to 90 in each class, top 17 make the sale  

March 10-13 – Breeding Heifer Show – Kaden Douglas – 5th place, Madisyn Douglas – 12th place    

March 11 & 18 – Houston Livestock Show Calf Scramble – Kaden Douglas & Jaxson Dillard – winners 

*will receive $1750.00 to use to buy a project for next year + $250 more   

              Upon return to the show next year for a total of $2000.00  

*30 kids scramble for 15 awards  

  March 12-14 – Market Hog Show – Kaden Douglas – participant  

 March 13-14 – Houston Livestock Show Livestock Judging Contest  

*Senior Team #1 – Jaxson Dillard, Abbi Farr, Shayla Daugherty, Reid Tallant  

*Senior Team #2 – Morgan Stark  

*Junior Team #1 – Jaycee Brown, Britton Evans, Cassidy Herron,   

Justin Richey  

*Junior Team #2 – Koby Brown, Carson Herron, Kloe Walker, Paris Walker  

  March 17-20 – Houston Agricultural Mechanics Show  

*18’ bumper pull trailer – Dillan Krodle, Reid Tallant, Abbi Farr -Blue Ribbon  

*other participants – Christopher Jordan, Scarlett Rogers, Jaxson Dillard
